<reviewbody>ok i probably shouldn t have done this but for people who want to know here goes:
24 bit flac filesets are for DVD audio. Here is how to shrink these down to mp3. First you have to load these into an audio converter and decode to wav. From there you can encode them to mp3. You may have to use different audio converters to get your tags to come out right.

DO NOT DO THIS UNLESS YOU INTEND NOT TO SHARE THE RE-ENCODED FILES. BY DOING THIS YOU ARE TAKING AWAY FROM THE QUALITY OF THE SHOW AND OF THE TAPERS WORK. I ONLY DO THIS SO THAT I CAN HAVE AN AMAZING PERSONAL ARCHIVE TO LISTEN TO WITHOUT TAKING UP TOO MUCH SPACE IN MY HOME. I NEVER TRADE OR GIVE AWAY ANY MP3 COPIES OF ANYTHING, UNLESS OFFERED IN THAT FORMAT IN THE FIRST PLACE, AND IF YOU PLAN TO CONVERT THESE FILES NEITHER SHOULD YOU.

BUT a lot of people require their permission to do this with their uploads.

Lastly, heres a setlist that I came up with:
1. intro
2. Autorail
3. Lamine's Tune
4. Tamasanko
5. Bamana Niya
6. untitled new song inspired by trip to Mali
7. Buncombe to Badala
8. Zaouli</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I did not hear a bad show at Langerado but some of the best stuff was in the Swamp Tent - Tubab Krewe was one of the standout performances - great musicians obviously having a great time playing for the Florida audience. I agree this 24 bit upload/download is a hassle for people - is it an attempt to limit copies? I don't know but the files do sound great - use foobar2000 to listen directly to flac files.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Is there anyone out there that knows how to convert these 24 bit flac files to wav or aiff files that I can burn onto a CD? I wanted to listen to these at work (where I can't download any programs where I can listen to flac files) and in my car, which can only take your standard audio cds. I have Windows XP at home if anyone knows of any software... I already have Nero7 but it hasn't been much help, but I'm a bit of a novice at this. Help ANYONE!!!! PLEASE!!! Thanks much.</reviewbody>
